BI-DIRECTIONAL PWM CONVERTER

Bidirectional PWM Converter is a power electronic converter, which can convert AC to DC or DC to AC, according to the operation mode requested, where the AC side is always connected to grid.

When the power flow is from AC side to DC side, the converter functions as a rectifier. As opposite, when the power flow is from DC side to AC side, the converter functions as an inverter.
