Tire couplings offer excellent damping properties and are therefore often used on drives with vibrations.
Hubs with through holes (B version9
Hubs with taperlockbush bores (H and F versions)
Clamped tires that can be mounted without moving the hubs axially
easy to assemble
Maintenance-free, no relubrication necessary.
The torque is only transmitted through the tire. If overloaded, the easy-to-install tire is destroyed and the entire drive is not damaged. The clutch therefore serves, in a certain sense, as overload protection.
Couplings with spacers are available for use on pump drives (RST couplings)
