Yapitas Cable & Profile was founded in 1976 as a trading company that sold raw materials to the cable industry until the early 2000s. In 2001, the company entered into heat-resistant cable and profile production with the slogan "Special Products For Extreme Conditions." Yapitas focused on product types that were either not yet produced in Turkey or were produced to a limited degree. In its early years, the product range consisted of items made from silicone rubber, such as cables, hoses, profiles, and molded parts. Yapitas has since become one of the country's leading manufacturers in this field.
